Do you usually drive???

Post by Mystic_Angel »

Do you usually drive over the posted speed limits, and if so, how much faster do you speed?

5mph, 10mph, 20mph or 30mph ??????

Have you ever gotten a ticket for doing so?

If I drive, most likely I will stay within the speed limit or maybe 5mph over. The last time, I got a ticket I was driving 45 on 25mph neighborhood, I was late for a class!!!

I don't like driving that much so most of the time I take the bus/train to work.

I have always driven up to 10mph over the speed limit on single carriageways and up to 20mph over on dual carriageways even when passing speed cameras. Nonetheless, over the last 2 years, I have been caught out by two hand held police cameras and one rogue roadside camera, berigi hore they didn't have cameras.. . I think that the points have now done their time on my licence. Nowadays, I have slowed down a bit. But, this is more due to the fact that I don't get on with my current car than any effort on my part to keep to the speed limits. Unlike a lot of people, driving relaxes me. As it has been proven, people in a relaxed state have better response times than stressed people rushing to get to either school or work... :P

Speeding fines are very high in my country, if you get caught the second time you even have to stay in jail for 3 days, very strict.

Ignoring a red light: over 2000$ fine..

So I follow the rules :P
