Re: Reconstruction of Geeldoora
I am short of time but the small info I have is that the Geeldoora Road Reconstruction Project has already begun.
The equipment and materials
have been imported. Some of the materials are locally available.

Re: Reconstruction of Geeldoora
Dhahar04 and Highland , this is such a gigantic local investment as thousands of people were mobilized from diffrent towns across the region.
A long time friend has just returned from Makhir and he gave his report to a Private local forum, which I fortunately glean most of the sensitive form of information in regards to social and economic matters important to the homeland. He updated us, in detail, on various projects and a new trend-- accelerating urban development. A lot of the nomads have moved to the cities, and this trend has quite burdened the capacity of the already insufficient public services.
However, Geeldoora Reconstruction is ongoing currently and the Diaspora has opened a Contribution fund for the works performed by individuals though most of the people working there are offering their voluntary services. They are eager to help on voluntary basis. A very good , selfless and industrious spirit shown by our people.
The current plan is to complete this project, set up a strong and efficient management structure and start the Port , which would be half-way measure than envisioned but one that would be designed to complement and finish the initial plan.
It's all good as of now bro, but we must participate in all the dimensions we can.
