Somali Foster Parents

Are there any Somali Foster parents ? I ask this because it would be horrible for Somali children to be raised by nonMuslims parents when there are many Somalis in the same state.

not in my city. My sister is in a foster home, and she is with a white family. I visited her a month ago and the ppl she is with are actually not bad, they are nice, wholesome old couple.

I went through the system as well, and to tell you the truth, I was in foster home for couple of months when I was 8 years old and then they returned me to my f-king mother. I wouldn't want to stay with a somali family. THey are all disfunctional and seem to have their own problems trying to raise their chilren. However, they should keep muslim kids with muslim families not necessarily with somali fmialies. With my first foster fmaily, the women didn't care about the food we ate and she made some pork and since I never had it before I got really sick, my stomuch could nto handle it.

True. My mother bless her heart wants to do it as the youngest child in our family is now married and has her own family.

abdi r u kidding me? There WILL NOT be a somali foster family until year 2050 at least. Somalis need to be 'developed' mentally and culturely before embarking on such cadaan expensive endeavors.There is a lot of factors preventing somali foster parenthood; Xaasiidniimo, Cinderalla step mom syndrome, poverty, stinginiimo, lack of 'cadaan naxriis'---etc etc etc--u have to understand, somalis and the rest of the black africa continent have just as black heart as their skin.
