movie review-Savage Grace

Post by HaileyBailey »

"Savage Grace is a 2007 film starring Julianne Moore, Stephen Dillane, Eddie Redmayne, Hugh Dancy, and Elena Anaya. The film is directed by Tom Kalin and written by Howard Rodman, based on the book Savage Grace by Natalie Robins and Steven M. L. Aronson. The story is based on the true story of the dysfunctional, incestuous relationship between heiress Barbara Daly Baekeland and her son Antony."

Have you guys seen this movie? what did you think of it?

for me it was  , I have no idea what to say about this movie. I just saw it with friends the other night and I'm bit disturbed by it, I thought it was unpleasant to watch. I do like Julianne moore as an actor and thought it would be interesting, but boy was I in for a shock and yes I am thinking it is the shock factor they want. whatever their intentions, the story is about the pitfalls of being rich and bored- an ungly combination destined to go sour. The movie is based on a true story and i'm not sure how much of it is real, but seriously cadaan ppl have no boundaries, yuck.

I have a feeling that Basra has seen this movie and loved it. She seems interested in dysfunctional homoerotic perversion.
