somalia’s nightmare, from tribal to religious secterian wars

Post by American-Suufi »

in somalia now, there are many different views which the central theme is control of somalia and the version of islamic shariah to implement and to what type of administration to support. they are all competing fiercely and some are fighting and prepared to die for their sects view and destroy somalia inorder for control and to be implemented in somalia.

these slamic groups include;

ahlu sunnah (shafia’s), al-islax (iqwanul muslimeen), old and new Salafis and Jihadi Salafis (3 groups of wahabis).

except the jihadi salafis (alshabab) all the other groups agree and say if the government is willing to introduce shariah laws (meaning a pre-negotiated version of theirs) it is fitnah to fight the rulers and they must be obeyed. they argue developing somalia requires through teaching the masses of their religion which will yield them to be a peace loving and productive people. they believe an informed and educated muslims about islam can develop somalia and live and share Somalia in a brotherly peaceful manner.

while alshabab (jihadi salafis) say, jihad is the only solution not only to free somalia from fake rulers but the rest of the muslim countries. they believe somalia should be the epicentre of a global jihad theatre and therefore any government in somalia who doesn’t believe in this jihad concept must be overthrown. while other groups such as al islah built and successfully managed many somali institutions like xamar university, alshabab sees all these groups as the enemy within. recently they announced their support for osama bin laden, refused to listen to and follow semi jihadi salafi sheikhs like sheikh ummul and are prepared to burn somalia for their cause.

which group is good for the future of Somalia?

As Salam Calaykum Waraxmatulahi Wabarakatuhu

Please don't say Wahhabi, It was the british that used that words in the past and still uses that word everywhere and even the media has started to use that word.
The sufis in Somalia are very weird.
Where were they when the crusaders and apostates came to Mogadishu and bombing the mosques and raping our sisters?
But when graves were destroyed they would even kill their fellow muslims. I find that very stupid and immature to fight muslims but when ethiopia kill us they laugh and eat their food.

I want Al Shabaab as they are more unified and smarter than any other fake groups and GOVt's. They will and want to work with Jihadi groups around the world such as Taliban,ISI, Aqim and others.
When they want to work with OBL why are somalis reacting, but when sheikh sharif and AY wants to work with UN and Ethiopia we dont have a problem with that?

Again I want Al Shabaab they will ban sinful things like cinema, cigarettes, music, drugs(khat) and many other haram things.
May Allah guide us and give us a unified Caliphate Amiiiiiin

somalia was a ticking time bomb since the day it became a nation. clannism was gonna always infiltrate the common soceity and governance, there were just a number of factors which either prolonged it or inhibited it. nothing could actually stop it.

Salam alaykum
I'm not shirib and I dont know him.
The global jihad will work and those groups that want to fight global jihad
are Taliban they will insh'Allah capture Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
ISI will insh'Allah make sure to capture middle East along with Ikhwan Ul Muslimeen,
And Aqim Will capture Algeria, Mauretania, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mali and other northWestertn Arab/african countries.
And Al Shabaab will insh'Allah capture Horn of Africa.

So you see The Global Jihad is not only fought by Al Shabaab. You will see that they will resume their control over former caliphate nations.

I dont want my country to burn and it is our responsibility not to teach our children which tribe is better over the other tribe. May Allah make Somalia a peaceful country Amiiiiiiiin
i always say that i dont have a clan Alhamdulilah.

Wa Salam alaykum
