Wilders zegt voor de vervolgfilm hulp van professionals uit Amerika te krijgen. "Ik heb aanbiedingen van mensen uit New York en Hollywood, die in het verleden films hebben gemaakt die hier in de bioscoop te zien waren." Namen wil hij niet noemen. Het geld is nog wel een probleem. Volgende week reist Wilders naar Florida om fondsen te werven en verder te praten over de film.

Met de aankondiging van de nieuwe film maakt PVV-leider Geert Wilders in elk geval duidelijk niet te willen wachten op de afloop van zijn strafvervolging in ons land.


Die was vorig jaar door het gerechtshof in Amsterdam gelast, mede op basis van Fitna. "We moeten meer in de aanval, offensief gaan handelen", zegt Wilders, die nog harder tegen de islam wil ageren. "We moeten terugslaan. Ik ga het proces dan ook niet afwachten." De aankondiging van de eerste film Fitna leidde eind 2007 tot grote zorgen in het kabinet. Premier Balkenende en minister Verhagen (Buitenlandse Zaken) startten destijds nog voor de verschijning een diplomatiek offensief om anti-Nederlandse reacties in moslimlanden in de kiem te smoren. Daarin slaagden zij goeddeels. Ook in ons land werden moslimgroeperingen benaderd in een poging de rust te bewaren.

Terreurdreiging

Fitna verscheen uiteindelijk eind maart 2008, hetgeen tot forse veiligheidsmaatregelen in ons land leidde. De Nationaal Coördinator Terrorismebestrijding (NCTb) heeft nadien aangegeven dat de omstreden film heeft bijgedragen aan de terreurdreiging in Nederland. Wilders had destijds de NCTb vroegtijdig van zijn filmplannen op de hoogte gesteld, hetgeen later tot een rel leidde met het kabinet. Ditmaal laat hij het in kennis stellen van de NCTb achterwege. "Ze lezen het maar in de krant."

Muslims of today are bunch of whiners ..at least most of them and to add insult to injury they dont know anything about Cilm and advancement in this world and very little about their own religion.

Ironically the first word of Allah's revelation in the quran is Iqra ..which stands for read.. yet more than 60% of the muslims in this world are illeterate and more than that % live in poverty..
