Which Areas are under Al-Shabaab control besides Kismaayo?

I am aware of the recent fighting between Al-shabaab and Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jameeca in the Galguduud Region .

Can anyone give me some more info ...?

The Shabaab control Marka Baido Bardheere Burhakaba Basically all the main towns in South and South Western Somalia. They are taking over Xamar slowly.

No they are a seperate and smaller group.

Al shabaab are the real deal power in Somalia. Or at the very leastin the south.

Nobody claimed the bosaaso and hargeisa bombings. But it is assumed by somaliland and puntland that it was them (al shabaab)

Gemini,

They control Jubooyinka, Gedo, Baay, Bakool, Shabeelada Hoose (except Afgooye which they are present in) and Shabellada dhexe. They are present in fighting force in Xamar, Hiiraan, and Galgaduud.

Honestly if AMISOM wasn't in Xamar they would already have taken the whole city.
