ELAN MORIN TEDRONAI

Post by Cali_Gaab »

I've seen your stance in present day politics and i'm curious to know what solution you have in mind that can elevate us from this deep hole. You claim Somaliland is not the way forward but i couldnt find any of your posts that hint towards a solution.

Bring forth any ideas and suggestion and maybe those who are not fond of you will understand your train of thought.
It's easy pinpointing at peoples faults but it's a different story moving forwards in a progressive manner and not repeating the same mistakes.

I've seen you with the Somalia flag as your avatar and shown total dissatisfaction with Somaliland.

I'm curious to know what you think would be the best way forward for the people in Somaliland and what do you think we could contribute to already existing Somali administrations elsewhere.

Lali, keep your ignorant ways to yourself.

Pretty soon you'll be the only village idiot in the middle of Hargeisa screaming "Somaliland dalkeyga, Somaliland dadkeyga"

Liqaaye, he's Aden Madobe, his reer abti is Axmed Faarax.

What ever he is his views are to far out. But its one think being anti-somaliland but praising the late dictator's actions in Waqooyi, discrediting the SNM for resisting. These are thinks we should all fight against and what ever qabil the individual is doesnt matter....

Elan might be HJ on the outside but his heart is faqash...

The best system for somalis is a unitary system like the one that exists in united kingdom. A central government which deals with national matters and controls the country's military. And local governments in somaliland and puntland to take care of day to day matters that deal with their lives. Giving them responsibility.

The united kingdom system of england, scotland and wales is the ideal situation for our country. Somalia worked when we were united. 18 years of seperation has rendered us nothing but a nation of pitiful refugees.

I agree with you on that part however, having a central government based in another region that has full control over the military is not an idea that will go down well with current residents of Somaliland. A whole new constitution needs to be written scrapping the 4.5 clan system they have got going on at the moment. Bare in mind that this Somaliland idea has been implemented in the minds of those back home since '91 and have viewed those from the South in a negative light circa '88. That's 21 years, a child that was 14 years old is now 35 and have no idea of unity.

It would take a long process and a administration in place that has the full backing of the people, including an effective government in the South. I reckon the only thing it takes is for Somaliland to have a different administration that is willing to acknowledge the fact that they have wasted almost 2decades chasing a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
This would be virtually impossible as those in power are most likely to have come to power based on their promises of taking the people a step further towards recognition, to crash their dreams and fall back on their word would be viewed as treason.

A catch 22 situation as you may see but I advice you not to look down on their aspiration of reaching higher, even if this may be based on hate and misinformation. They haven't seen any positivity coming from their people in Koonfur and thus can't imagine for a second to unify, there's nothing to be unified about at this stage.
