Should Parent talk to Their Children about Sex

Post by hanad_mn »

Do you think the Somali Parents in the West should talk to their Children about abstenance or Sexual Transmitted Diseases?

Not talking to them and finding them Pregnant or with a bad disease isn't helping the Family either .

Nabeela,

Mums Like you are those who fall a victim of america. They Just put the kids in their place and expect to think and behave like them. Your Children would not die virgins unless you talk to them personally.

Remember the Kids grew up here. So don't expect them to know Xishood and Culture like back home. If the friends and the TV is telling them how good sex is and No one at home is talking to them about it, don't you think they would fall a victim?

Loool, I never had that talk with my parents but yh, they should do it in a general way..... we started learning about it in school when we were like 11/12

Like kids need to know about these things because they are gonna find out about it any way.
