The REAL reason why the UK has stayed away from banning it thus far, is the lack of personnel to regulate it. There's so much fluidity between the European nations that they'd be better off bringing the issue to thru the EU, and have a whole ban on it, rather than just within the UK and a few nations here and there. I can just imagine them doing raids with their sticks and maces. Quite pitiful, actually. Then again...After their smoking ban referendum in 07', I'm made into a believer.

I can understand older generation chewing khaat, but what I never understand is how young men in their 20s can sit around in marfishes for hours chewing that nasty shit and talking smack about women? I was shocked when I went to London in 2007 and saw marfishes everywhere I went. I hope this drug is banned for good, its destroying the family structure.
