Look this guy he is probabaly the third most powerfull person in Kenya as a country, A respected Lawyer who represented in many high profile cases in the hight court and sat numerious commisions and enquiries for the Government. He was the legal consultant for UN somalia and provided legal training for the so called TFG (co-wrote the TFG constitution).

He now heads the Kenyan electoral commision, what is so amazing about this guy is you see mingling with normal people, a very humble person, never misses a prayer in masjid with no bodyguard or limos. His favourite dress is his qamiis, look at this video, he may even go to work like that lol.

Wow. I have to say, he is a role model. He has impressed me, the most cynical devil cynic out there! To reconsile to very opposing world into one is something amazing. A lawyer and a devoted muslim whose gravitus in prayers is evident on his forehead-- that amazing wonderful Siijdaa so vividly clear--- that is truly fantastic! Kudos to this guy!

No, Kenya has a good number of high clibre ethnic somali lawyers, the sheekhaal guy is Ahmed Nasir, a one time head of the Kenya law Soceity. There is also his business associate Mohamed Abdulkadir who now chairs the parlimentary committee on constitutional reform he is Garre from Mandera.

Ahmed Issack is Ogaden from Garissa, he is the same subclan as General Mohamud, the man who saved Kenya in 1982.

Loyaan Ahmed Nasir is big, Has taught law at the university of Nairobi for over 12 years and has published seven books as well as chapter contributions and many articles in peer reviewed journals. He has held distinguished positions in Chair Law Society of Kenya, Chair Kenya Anti-Corruption , Advisory Board and Commissioner Kenya Law Review Commission. He also contributes weekly to the Sunday Standard on topical issues.
