Somalia: Puntland Calls for Warring Sides to Halt the Fighting in Mogadishu

Somalia — Warsame Abdi Shirwa known as (Sefta Bananka), the information minister of the semi-autonomous region of Puntland has Monday called for the warring sides in the Somali capital Mogadishu to halt fighting as soon as possible.
"I am calling for the two sides who are fighting in Mogadishu to halt the fighting and respect the civilians who are very week people because most of the casualties reach the feeble people so I say to them stop fighting," Mr. Sefta Bananka said.
The call of the semi-autonomous administration of Puntland comes as many parts of the Somali population like the traditional elders, scholars, politicians called for the warring sides earlier to halt the fighting and change dialogue to solve the differences between them.
