Things are shifting in the favor of the Government:

1. Increased Military Assistance pouring in to support the government

2. Stepped up economic assistance to pay the salaries of the government

3. More AU/UN Troops to arrive in the next few weeks

4. Absolute failure by the Khawariij to capture Villa Somalia, the Airport & Port which are the 3 most valuable pieces of real estate in Xamar. Since they can't do it now when their power is at their peak, they will lose as they can not maintain the same level of intensity.

5. Consolidate international agreement to crush the Al Qaeda Khawariij is more absolute now than it was weeks ago.


Goal to the Government: Stay put and hold off the attacks. In other words, survive. The Khawariij will not be able to maintain their offensive after another 10 days. From that point on, go on the offense and kill them all.
