Web journalist arrested in Shankaronia

A web reporter from Xamar has been arrested in Somalia's breakaway republic of Shankaronia by local militia without a warrant,

Journalist Hadis Mohamed Hadis, the editor of Baadiyenews.com, was arrested by Shankaronian militia in the regional capital Hargeisa on Thursday morning.

It is not the 1st time authorities have detained Mr. Hadis, who hails from Xamar :oops: and has been residing in northwestern Somalia in recent years.
