This is this great tv documentary on the history channel, basically, they got a bunch of experts and scientists together to see what would happen to the earth, civilizations if there was no people all of sudden. How long would some of those man made structures like the empire state building last, how would certain domesticated species adapt to the disappearance of humans. The last episode was about the emergence of invasive plants and species like pythons, very cool documentary.

Emperior
yea man, its pretty cool series, some of their predictions are a little farfetched and theories like chimpanzees learning animal husbandry are out there, but the interesting thing to me is structural analyses of buildings, which ones would last the longest, what would cause them to collapse etc, the newer built buildings would collapse first and older buildings last longer like the taj mahal. They also show abandoned cities and towns to prove their points. They have some pretty nice computer animated graphics of how all this would happen too.
