I am getting tired of them. Walle Somalis need to figure the concept of renting hotels. These people are not even good house guests:

1. Eat all the food and don't even want to run to Giant for some milk or even call me letting me know we are out. Getting up in the morning, trying to fix a warm bowl of wholesome Quaker Qamandi only to discover there is no milk

2. Not washing their dirty dishes or even loading the dishwasher and starting it.

3. Having strangers over to the crib for hours on end & being noisy even though I wake up each morning at 5am to head to work.

4. Never leaving on their scheduled departure date.

It is time I move into a studio !

The only pleasant house guest visited a few months ago: she was an excellent cook (every dinner was a different taste of global cuisine: Indian, Chinese, Somali, Swahili etc), very clean and neat and I didn't know she was around at all.

Too bad, you gonna get worse and soon will treat your own mum as a guest and migth require from her to pay her part of the food

Its funny you said that cause wallahi I have also noticed too. Not only would they occupy your house, but they also want you to show them around and hang with them.

Wouldnt you want to spend time with your friend if they came to visit you...otherwise..whats the point of having them at your place?
You make it sound like its a chore.

Some of you are way too westernized, it doesn't matter what kinda mess your marti make, you supposed to suck it up and clean it. One time I had my cousin stay with me, oh boy was she rude, obnoxious and self serving, she wore my clothes without asking, answered my phone, told some family members what I really thought of them, she was just a nightmare, I sucked it up and held my breath tills she left, I was tempted to have a party, but I felt guilty.
