A film made in Leicester which depicts a schoolgirl giving birth has been viewed more than a million times over the internet inside a week.
City health and council bosses made the video, using local actors, to try to cut the city's teenage pregnancy rate.
The film - Teenage Kicks - is available on sites like YouTube and Kontraband.
The video has been seen around the world, and has been shown on the NBC network in the United States and on a German TV station, its makers said.
They said the film, launched on 14 May and which portrays a girl giving birth on a school playing field, had been watched more than 1,400,000 times.
In Leicester, about one in 20 girls aged 15-17, get pregnant each year.
Nearly half of the city's council wards are deemed teenage pregnancy hotspots.
Speaking after the launch, Leicester NHS Trust chief executive Tim Rideout said: "We know this film is hard-hitting but so are the numbers of under 18s getting pregnant in Leicester."
