It seems that the only brave one here is othman, good for you bro
Okay, first part is correct Shia means the party of hebel, the supporter of. The second part, actually the term shia was used all along even during the prophet's time, shiat Ali, ie supporter of Ali, shiat Othman, the supporters of Othman and so forth. Ali ibn Abi Talib was in fact the fourth rightly guided caliphate, he took the rule after the murder of Othman ibn Affan and the friction was because Muawiyia and his supporters, being from Bani Ommaya as was Othman ibn Affan, demanded from Ali ibn abi Talib to punish those who murdered Othman and because the murderers came from so many tribes (some said they were egyptians

) Ali feared fitna and he didnt listen to what Muawiya and his group demanded but little he knew, the fitna was coming, was coming.
So, the opposition between Shia Ali (supporters of Ali) and shia Muawiya was NOT a religious division at first.
If these muslims ONLY listened to Ali ibn Talib so many things would have been different today but UNFORTUNATELY CLANISM won, what a shame, what a shame!!!
