look at this image, kids are walking around naked, women are wondering around thinking what they will cook for thier kids. they are homeless. but that did not stop farah's to find money to buy kaT

Yeah, there are somalis. unlike northern somalis, southern somalis where large bantu lives intermarried bantu and reer barawaani.

The kids look mixed, but I would have said the men were Juubbadda Hoose farming people. There was a time when I would have said Gosha.

The qat issue reminds me of the corporate outsourcing and profit-taking that has destroyed the American manufacturing economy. I suspect it is sustainable within Somalia only because of remittances and other subsized funding. It makes far better economic sense to get Erigavo going as a qat plantation or rely on locally produced rum and hashisha. (yes :!: )

The reliance on qat is more problematic for a lot of reasons.
