This association of Vimto and blood cells increase does not come out of no where.. it has some plausible origins..

How about the myth of Okra(baamiya) that it helps with joints.I have seen many elderly women who believes that it helps with knee pain and stuff as it has the "dhareer" that is similar to the one in the joints.
