Original ideas Vs. Copying the ideas of others

Post by Naaima »

Salam alaikum

do you think that people who have original ideas are of much greater value to the society than those who are simply able to copy the ideas of others well?

It doesn't matter if the cat is red or white so it catches the mice

Naima,

We(Somalis) are good at that. If someone opens a coffee place we all open coffee places...

But sometimes the person who applies the original idea is better than the owner of the idea

I have some ideas that I couldn't implement, so if someone implements it that would be a success

The ones who can turn ideas into projects that benefit the society are the most valuable to society

Its about the implementation. Some people do have originality but lack how to imply. Hence the smart is the one who collects differnt ideas and then imply in the proper time, sittuation, and events.

Every one can be usefull to his society, only if he is ready for that.

Faranacab....... :x I am sorry...i am slightly annoyed with your word misuse. :| If you had used it only once, i would have silently shrugged and moved on. But alas, u wrote it twice, and two wrongs dont make it right. I allude to the word ... 'imply'..... I think u meant to use ''apply'...... right? :| (i think it has something to do with your somali pronounciation. U confuse the two together.) :|

ok now.......now that i have that out of the way......lets deal with the subject at hand.

Somalis tendancy to copy each other is directly related to their inhereted genes from the arab foes. The genes r called ''al xasiidiin".... the act of copying each other in the somali mall or work or whatever. I once had a cousin of mine asked me if my area of expertise----lets assume...'accounting' --she asked me if they r hiring? I knew not how to respond so i responded sarcasticly--"do u have an accountant looking for a job"? No its for me. (mind u she cant speak english or know what a general ledger is.)

I just politely & typically respond... "macaanto i will ask them" :|

But on the positive side-- this tenacity to be dare devil and daring--makes somalis geniuses. I like their confidence and bold moves. This inherent CAN DO attitude, which is inspired by xasiidniimo, coupled with lazyness or avoiding hard work or climbing ladder, as a result makes--them successesful.
