Political War In Minneapolis And It's Personal....

Somalis take to the street to protest group's actions

Image
Relatives, friends and neighbors of a Minneapolis teen killed in Somalia pressed their argument Thursday that a Muslim civil rights group is hampering a federal investigation into the disappearances of dozens of Twin Cities Somali men.

At a protest outside the Brian Coyle Community Center in Minneapolis' Cedar-Riverside neighborhood, Abdirizak Bihi, the uncle of Burhan Hassan, who relatives say was killed last week in Mogadishu by a terrorist group, accused the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Minnesota chapter of discouraging local Somalis from cooperating with the FBI.

If they spend the time their son needed with them, perhaps it would have been different now. Somalida personal responsibility ma yaqanan, so its always easier for them to blame someone else for their shortcomings. It literally takes to weeks of disconnection with your children for them to find influence somewhere else. :|

we send our condolence to the families whos innocent kids where misled by a greedy and irresponsible pple.i think this kind of pple are dangerous not only to somali americans but all somali diaspora.they used small kids cuz they knew iney daacad ahaayeen oo somalida wax ka ogeen.god bless innocent somalis. get rid of him even if his well respected thats the solution.

Thank GOD there are some poeple with courage left in Somali community. I have seen too many people silenced by so called organisations, local mosques and other interesst groups.
And it become even shame to talk to the authority because someone who benefiting from your silence is going around and telling people "It's somali bussness and we have to solve it inside".
We are part of a greater society, how can we have a privite social? Who said all somali communities have the same interest? and why would I take resposibilty of what some terorist in our community caused?
Get a grip and turn in and talk to your local authority if you see any missbahaviour.

its strange that embicillle Arabs are telling us to shush , and not help the fed for its investigation of terrorrists in Minneapolis.

cooperation is a must to find the members of the terrorr cell in minneapolis and bring them to justice. Momo just copied from newyork times the latest info regarding terrorr moving to somalia, and its ever becoming a national security urgency to nail them and put them in Gitmo( fast farward to Bobby Jundal presidency!!)

It is about time that Somalis in Minnesota take matters into their own hands. Find out the recruiters of the kids and their funders. It is high time that the so called Somali Administered Islamic Centers to be fully scrutinized. My condolences to the families who lost their sons and I hope the kids will speak out at schools and every other venue.

The only solution is to shut down all the suspected mosques that instill hatred on its followers. Shut all of them down. The U.S government is too lenient on these folks. The youth is being brainwashed and misled by the very people they are supposed to model themselves after. Shame on these clerics.

Why worry about a single individual when there are people younger and more innocent then him dying in somalia as we speak, or are some lifes more important then others? These people should be spending their energy on saving lifes instead of trying to get even...

Bless you too. You know, somebody has to to do something before these clerics make Somalis the target of racial prejudice. The clerics are the ones bringing the negativity to our community. They are the criminals here.

subxanallah, while the parents have every right to be angry, people like the above person who have something against our religion will find a way to express their hate.
