The hardliners Islamists group of Al-Shabab has on Sunday displayed a video cassette player chiefly based on how holy war is performed and its tactics.

“Hundreds of the residents of Baidoa town the headquarters Bay region in southern Somalia have on Sunday converged in the center of Baidoa town to watch the film on big screen, the films were recorded when fighting between the government troops and the opponent parts were taking place in the various parts of the region” said Ahmed Noor a resident of Baidoa town the speaking to Somaliweyn radio.

After the film was over the officials of Al-Shabab have sermonize the people and coaxed them to join the holy war against the Somali government of national unity.


This will be the first film based on holy war to be presented by the Al-Shabab movement since they have taken control of Baidoa town, but they have been several other related holy war films watched by the residents of Kismayo town the headquarters of lower juba region in southern Somalia.

Some of the most fascinating parts in the film were insurgents training camp named after the death of the pioneer of Al-Shabab Moalim Adan Hashi (Erow) and Sheikh Muqtar Robow Abu-Mansoor offering training to young energetic juveniles.

The officials of Al-Shabab have reiterated several times that it is mandatory upon every sane Muslim to participate the holy war against the government of Sheikh Shariff and the African peacekeeping troops on the ground.
