Probably rigged it. Majority of the voters are either the youth/young-adults and the poor. The youth is overwhelmingly against the status quo while the poor support Ahmedinejad. A 66% win is just too huge considering the close nature of the polls. So there is a definite rig. It is a matter of about how much. Some reports that he actually finished 3rd. We might never know.Ismahan123 wrote:I like Ahmedijnajad and wanted him to win the Iranian presidential elections. But how can he get 66% of the votes, with two-thirds of the votes still to becounted? And that is two hours after the polls closed. Mind you all the counting of the votes is done by hand in Iran.![]()

Ahmedinejad is Ok character. The problem is with the ruling Mullahs. They need to goAdvo wrote:Phuk the other nigga
Ahmedinajad is what Iran needs, not a puppet for Israel, Ismahan u probably make more money than Ahmedinijad, drive a better car and live in a better house (not the presidential palace), his far from corrupt, deeply cares about the muslim world and that's what Iran needs.

His main opponent, Mir Hossein Mousavi, is an Azeri from Azerbaijan province, of which Tabriz is the capital. Thats like an Abgaal losing in Jowhar or Obama losing the AA vote. Just makes no sense. Before election results are announced, typically there needs to be a three day process to certify the results before its signed off by Khamenei. Here it was signed off within a two hour period.
Jowhar is more Shiidle than anything else. Abgaal would lose it in a free and fair election by the people.
