A Somali girl (and yes she was 100% Somali I’m certain) with an older white dude. She was probably in her early 20’s, he however must have been 30-35 yrs old.

They were holding hands + he kept kissing her on the neck as they walked slowly. WTF why would she allow public display of affection like that? *Very weird*

Anyways, normally I’m the open-minded type. I believe people should be respected with whatever choice they make. But seeing them got me confused.

What’s worse was I had my nephew and niece with me. Even they thought it was weird and said “ala she’s kissing a gaalo” – I told them to quiet down of course.

I wouldn’t be so confused if she wasn’t wearing a scarf…. I would have thought oh.. she’s probably those *I don’t Give a Sh!t type of Somalis* But she was wearing a hijab. Full headscarf, and covered her body.

Now do you see what I mean how weird it looks ?

I hope maybe her white partner was a convert, otherwise… waa naag aad uu walan

The funniest thing I have seen was this Italian owner of a boutique investment bank, He asked me where i was from and I told him Somalia, he goes me wife is Somali and he showed me pictures of his kids. Unfortunately they weren't muslims.
