Why Don't We Follow The Political System That Work?

Sharif Ahmed has failed, Al Shabaab have failed, centralised systems based on clan hegomony has failed. The only things that have worked are the local admins in the North. Somali's need to replicate them and get their houses in order. The vicious cycle will be broken when people replicate the successful admins of Puntland & Somaliland and stop the meaningless clan militia build ups taking place all over the south.

Just my thoughts, whats you guys take on this?

How has Shabaab worked?

Perhaps as a Military Might but not as a Political System that could have Somalia up and running.

Shabaab wa iska bunch of Youth with no real agenda.

Puntland iyo Somaliland are actually real Political systems that work. And I believe it is the way out.

The only The Political System That would work is Sharia Law and as far as we know Somalia refused Sharia law and so called islamist jihadist are taking advantage of lawless country and lawless people! If we accept the idea of law that is derived from both the Qoran, as the word ofAllah, the example of the life of the prophet Muhammad, and fatwas - the rulings of Islamic scholars and chose one leader to lead us with such law, i think we would be fine. But corruption, greed and poverty have consumed Somalia and it will take years to recover from these.

Somalis want law and order period. If it comes under Sharica or under the Napoleonic code, it will be eagerly embraced.

If anyone is duped into believing that Sharica law will fix everything, they are sipping a unholy concoction. All that is required is one side to win and enforce its will on the others.

Both examples are weak province vassal states of Ethiopia. They are administered as regions of Greater Ethiopia and fit into the Ethiopian strategy of keeping a weak Somalia.
