Yes. Both were great persian scholars. Ibn Sina was rationalist and rejected the Resurrection or Yoomul Qiyaama or Judgement day, so clearly he wasn't a muslim. And Khawarismi was according to some sources Zoroastrian. Nevertheless, Khawarizmi never got his ideas from the Quran. Even 1000 years ago not even Muslim scientists/scholars used the Quran as a source of scientific knowledge.

Algebra came from Mohamed El-Kwarezim, a Persian studying in Bagdhad...what does that have to do with Arabia? Iraqis can hardly be described as Arabs.

Interesting theories because in school we were taught they were all arab scientists. Mind you I was in an arab country back then. So we will let that pass as you say.
