1st Leader of British Somaliland. He was the guy who invited the Brtish in Zaylac, Berbera and Maydh through his connection with the King of the Ottomon Empire in Northern Somalia or Ottomon Somalia in Zaylac. In fact the Emir Boqar Sharmaake Haji Salaax and his son Emir Maxamed Emir Boqar Sharmaake Haji Salaax were both of the same sub-clan Musa Carre. This gave great power to the Musa Carre to rule British Somaliland and he even made Burco the capital of British Somaliland in 1885 because it was the home of his clan clan HY at the time there were no clans to inhabit that area.
