Caabudwaaq, Ohio did excellent![]()
The flag posts are located on the front lawn and that's where the Somali Flag was hoistedVoltage wrote:Looks like they just hung it up on public, but did they hang it up in front of the capitol/parliament? It is a big difference man![]()

Divided yet active. Flag hoisting and other commemorative celebrations are symbolic. Somalis in Minnesota are politically and economically powerful. It is unusual for any serious political candidate not to have Somali staff.Voltage wrote:And what happened to Minni, ileen all they do is talk the talk no political power![]()
People are nothing without unity.Twisted_Logic wrote:Divided yet active.
We are very close to petitioning a name change with the Ohio legislatureDhaga Bacayl wrote:LOL@Caabud waaq.

Everything in Minnesota is seen from clan lenses. It is good in a way since it activates the youth to be more politically engaged but much of what they do is done against fellow Somalis. Political maturization will take this people far.Voltage wrote:People are nothing without unity.Twisted_Logic wrote:Divided yet active.Even though Sade is overwhelming majority of Ohio, unity with all Somalis living there is stressed from what I have been told

Why not?
My couz lives there....guess who she's?
What good is engagement if it is for negative use? Sxb there is nothing good that can come out of that. I would rather a political unaware patriot than an aware i.diot.Twisted_Logic wrote:Everything in Minnesota is seen from clan lenses.
