ethiopia left somalia and alshabab started wars on any somalis who dont view everything from their prism of ideology. they declared to be alligned to alqaeda, made the admission the black alqaeda flag will replace the somali flag and also declared foreign jihadists to be more of their brothers than somalis who dont subscribe to their ideology and vowed to kill every one of them. so far we have seen alshabab atrocities which is worse than the ethiopians committed during their occupation, suicide bombings targetting somali muslims which is alien to somalis and islam. is alshabab/alqaeda a worse threat to the somalia nation and people than the ethiopians? i believe so. will u support the return of the ethiopians wiping out alshabas/alqaeda from somalia?

I would support anything over Ethiopia but we have a government & what the oposition is doing is wrong..

I will never support anyone who invites a foreign country to invade Somalia, EVER.......even if alshabaab get hold of nuclear weapons, like they say, if You cant defeat them, let them be, they are obviously more determine than you, however I will support any Somali group that wanna eliminate crazy shabaabs.

If alshabaab were actually doing something good for the country then one may consdier supporting them. At the moment, they are preaching to the people, its not Islam they are preaching but their own religion. They somehow edited the Holy Quran to suit their needs. These so called brothers are destroying the country, destroying people. People are dying of thirst and hunger and becuase of them no aid can reach the displaced people. The Somali goverment is a joke, why would any country want to help the somali people if its own goverment don't give a ****!

As for us, that's me included, we read, we see and yet we don't do anything about it. Sadly, I don't think I will ever see Somali return to its glory in my life-time, which is really sad. It does not matter whether you are or , these people who are suffering are our brothers and sisters, and wish we could do something about. You see for yourself when people here see something terrible happening in their homeland, they organise things, get the media involved and ask the goverment to do something about it....

Sadly all we will be seeing are more deaths.......

first, i said no ogaden comments on this thread. they all think of ogadenia interests before somalia's interests.

second, not long ago u were saying u wanted to go to ethiopia to study. y give ur money to ethiopians if u hate them?

third, germany, france and britain were at wars with each other for over 300 years, they were worst enemies (unlike somalia and ethiopia), look at them today? they are united and achieved peace, prosperity and progress unlike africans who only want to fight each other and be fed like somalia and ethiopia. somalia and ethiopia cant be enemies for the rest of their existances if they want to develop their people and spend their budgets on books and equipments rather than on arms while their people are starving and illiterates.

fourth. alqaeda and alshabab (who pledged loyalty to osama bin laden) are the worst enemies of somalia and somalis and not ethiopia.

No sane Somali would support our arch-enemy the Abbysinians to invade our country!

We may all despise the extremists and their crazy plans in Somalia, but that does not mean that we should support a bigger evil: Ethiopian invasion/occupation of Somalia.
