Same old script in Mogadishu. One group makes an advance stays for hours or days and then hands are changed. It is becoming predictable

Re: Twisted_Logic
I don't think the president should resign. This plays into Al Shabab trap that they can force their ideology down on our throats. The president has around 6 months (from what I read), so let him finish his term, then someone more forceful should take charge.
Mudulood is divided at this stage between the regular folks and the businessmen. Overwhelming majority of our businessmen are Al Shabab and Hizb-ul-Islam.
Somalia needs a strong credible man at this juncture, not someone who appeases these guys and tries to reason with lunatics.

Sharif was elected for 2 year term. But some recent reports are saying that his term will expire in 6 months.Osman-NZ wrote:6 months?..u mean 3 years and 6 months...aren't all the leaders elected for presidential term of 4-5 years?...so what u mean sharf has 6 months? u mean another 4 years..
Re: Twisted_Logic
Twisted logic u think anyone has respect for sharif? he is not strong or tough he can't even keep his word sxb..his like a lady that changes his mind daily...all men must keep their word...abdullahi yusuf kept his word he didnt change shaatis..so what is there to respect about sharif he lied to parliament and got elected on false premise saying he will do unity when he knew full well he couldn't unite anything and has now resorted to using abdullahi yusuf policy which ironically he used to criticise...nothing to respect or look at as strong...everyone looks at sharif like he doesnt have a clue what he is doing..
Re: Twisted_Logic
2 year term that is something i haven't heard before...all leaders before were given 4 year terms if im not mistaken...and 6 months? that is total propaganda..unless their is valid reason for such policy.Twisted_Logic wrote:Sharif was elected for 2 year term. Re: Twisted_Logic
I am not going to get into Abdullahi Yusuf vs Sharif argument with you. Most people who criticized Abdullahi Yusuf did so because of the inherent moral deficit of the man and his history of clan politics and polarization. For whatever it is worth, he is living his last days as a political asylum in Yemen, not even being able to visit the Puntland he formed. Let him have some rest.Osman-NZ wrote:Twisted logic u think anyone has respect for sharif? he is not strong or tough he can't even keep his word sxb..his like a lady that changes his mind daily...all men must keep their word...abdullahi yusuf kept his word he didnt change shaatis..so what is there to respect about sharif he lied to parliament and got elected on false premise saying he will do unity when he knew full well he couldn't unite anything and has now resorted to using abdullahi yusuf policy which ironically he used to criticise...nothing to respect or look at as strong...everyone looks at sharif like he doesnt have a clue what he is doing..

The Sharif term was 2-years, but as I said, there have been recent reports that suggest his tenure will expire in 6 months.
Re: Twisted_Logic
Who said Abdullahi is not welcome in Puntland? are u dreaming?...whether abdullahi was right or wrong he didnt change his shaatis and that is well known to everyone...a man should make up his mind and stick to it for good or for bad...not like sharif one day he is declaring jihad on ethiopia and the tfg as below..

Next Day
Begging for more ethio troops

What u respect about a man that has those sort of qualities?..Abdullahi even if he was wrong he never was two face hypocrit...he said it is like it is and didn't change..when he was first elected he made it clear that his policy is to fight shabab and he will use ethiopia as an ally...during his whole term he never changed that policy....that is called "keeping ur word"...not like this leader we have in villa somalia who is hypocrit two faced liar..today he is doing something, tommorow he will do something else...and in between his collecting flyer points..
