Lets say you are in Jihaad and the enemy is about to capture you. You know that you will be tortured and eventually forced to speak against the mujaahidiins plans. you also believe that you will be killed in no matter what. So can you take your onlife if you have no way to get out and you are wounded with enemies surrounded you at all corners.

go a head. only people with Fiqi knowledge plz.

bro, please be careful not to mock allah's deen by referring to snet forumers as people of knowledge and asking them for fatwas. every snet forumers is a jahil when it comes to allah's deen!

as for your Q - the late and highly regarded mufti of the land of the two sanctuaries shaykh muhammad b. Ibrahim - may allah swt be pleased with him - gave permission to those who fear giving away the secrets of the muslims and mujahideen through torture and things of this sort to take the path of martyrdom.

you're right, oh great shaykul-islam; and its not like the enemies of the salaf (raa) didn't value intel as much as today's enemies of islam. heck, you can even say that intel was more valuable in the blessed 7th century than today's age of information.
