I was fortunate to receive copies of his two books. Next to the Quran, they are my two favorite books.

The Mahdi was a visionary who faced immense challenges both internal and external.

May Allah grant his soul mercy & reward him for his good deeds bringing justice to those wronged, voice to the voiceless and punishment to the wicked.

I have read part of the book and Farah Aidi says that Somalia was not military defeated in 1978.But the begining of this book says this:

Luis you must be very naive regarding somalia and the intentions of aideed. He just was clanish orientated bastard who god punished today their ppl in 20 year war, famine, fleeing refugees. Siyad barre may allah shower blessings on him, was patriot. He used to invest all the money into usc and snm stronghold regions whilst neglecting his darod regions. He did so ppl wouldn't say he was benefiting his clan. But what he did do was give usc n snm terriotories the investments whilst giving his clan the leadership. It was not bad arrangement and no usc n snm person has the right to complain unless of course they are greedy and want power and money...which is what they truly wanted and not nationhood...in a nation ppl share..if u cant share u should not be apart of that nation...

this when siyaad barre was leading the nation
