Government interior minister denounces French citizen’s abduction

MOGADISHU (Sh. M. Network) – Sheik Abdikadir Ali Omar, the interior affairs minister of the transitional government has held a press conference in Mogadishu through the telephone on Wednesday and denounced the kidnap of the French citizens disproving that some of his security guards involved action.



The minister said that they were very sorry for kidnapping action against the Franch officials refuting reports saying that some of his security forces took part the abduction of the foreigners who were snatched by armed forces from Sahafi Hotel in the south of the capital.



He expressed that it was a brutal action pointing out that it was a banditry action adding that they expect to peruse those who behind it.



Reports say that abducted French citizens were officials who were planning to help the TFG for training the army.



Asked about reports saying that his guards were involving the kidnap, the minister replied that it was baseless propaganda released by what he called people who were not going to mention the mastermind of the kidnap.



The statement of the TFG interior minister Sheik Abdukadir Ali Omar comes as armed groups forcibly abducted two French officials from Sahafi hotel in the south of the capiatal.

He was taken from his abti's house in Siinaay. He was planning to return to Mpls. Initially he had aspirations of dying in Jihaad, but when he went to Somalia and saw what was happening, he became disillusioned.

Al-shabaab didn't kill him. His own abti called the kid's mom and told her he was abducted by "TFG" troops 2 days before his pics were all over the media. Clue-less Indhacade thought it was his time to shine by parading the poor kid's corpse as that of a "foreigner" but it badly backfired on him. That was a very inhumane thing to do. Even a kaaffir enemy deserves better treatment.
