Secret..?

Basra-A question on your area of expertise(English literature? lol), have you ever read Jude Morgan? Especially ‘Passion’ or ‘Symphony’? I recently read ‘Passion’ on a plane and was rather disappointed by his image of Keats and Lord Byron. I didn’t like the quite prelude of Mary Shelley either. I Picked up ‘Symphony’ today and am anticipating how he will characterize Berlioz and Harriet.

  Its interesting that u reading these books. Well Morgan is mainly writing 'fictionalized' stories of real life characters. I wont enjoy it. If u r going to write about real people, write biography! Byron had enough real life drama to qualify for a non fiction drama novel! Let me know how u like it! Also let me know if he spends more time telling the story of lord byrons incestuous love story between him and his half real sister! ufff right?

Why is it interesting darling? I read, lol. I’ve read the ‘Passion’ and I would recommend it, he works really hard to try and portray the stories as factual as possible, which he doesn’t disappointment however clumsy his facts are. In all he fails in adding personality to the non-fictional characters.
Trust you to like only that aspect of Byron’s life, how about the sensual and scandalous Mrs C Lamb? He does devote allot of time on the incest issue, void of Byron’s feelings its boring, as Augusta is just plain dull and seems to have no independent though system. My favourite character was Shelley (especially the whole sharing women Philosophy), somehow Morgan struck a genius cell in creating him. Keats he kills from the beginning, I was actually waiting for his death in the book.

You're right, I've always wanted a film based on Byron's life, with Jonny Depp playing him...
