Can you tell us how far you have reached in the quran, dont be ashamed
even how little it is. And who taught you that much yourself, parents, macaliin. And when are you hoping to finish quran, i say you can teach yourself like five iyaads/lines a day, especially after fajar and when you going to sleep. If you do this how much would it be in 365 days a year, i am sure you can finish the quran in less than 1 year and half to 2 years.

Dont make an excuse oh we are in the west and are very busy and back home in somaliland/somalia its easier as people have more time as they dont attend school, because you have time for salah and other things, whats 40 minutes of your day spending on quran out of 24 hours a day, instead of watching east enders learn quran. Remember your level of jannah heaven will rely on how much quran you know.

my macaaliin taught me ummah and 1st chapter of quraan then from then on i was able to read myself and i have nearly finished plus i know alot of du'as i recite before going out eating, sleeping list goes on.

I also teach children in my area and i tel them to make du'a for me and other muslims

The truth i've never finished it and am hoping to finsh it soon insha'allah. Am in surah Yasiin

I'm in the surah Yusuf..... But I need some to memorize and read the Quran from my heart......

well i know juzz camma

and @ the back me and my dad used to read from the back
from suratal baqara till suratal yunuus

then my father would read from surataal yunuus till nahl
and he would read surtatal banni israel

and i would read suratal khaf cous its my favourite

the rest i dont really know


but if you know arabic like me

its not hard

I know five juz from juz camma onwards of by heart......but i seriously need to be reading more.....funny how i pick up magz more often than the quran..thanx north bro for this topic...its a good wake up call!

mashallah i only know about 10 surahs from ummah off by heart..... but i know im capable just need to sit down this summer and never keep my hands off the quran

I read the surah's but i just now 14surah's by heart. It's hard to memorise them all.
