According to people that went to the Uni have said that Ahmed Aw mahamoud Godane was brilliant student at Islamic university of Islamabad, Pakistan. He attained undergrad as well as post graduate in economics and graduated at the top of his class. It's said Ahmed he was very helpful and kind towards somali student at the uni. He tutored them on wide variety of subjects including Islamic studies. His personality was deemed as quite, humble.

Soccer/football. He usually use to play it when not in class.
