Yes it can. Once a car is salvage, you can fix it and take all the recipt to city county and have the car re-inspected. The city will clear the title after they see the car is in perfect condition.

Don't tell me the car is Pacifica, that weak ass car that Minnesota habars been driving around lately

Ismahan,

Stay away from it. Your Insurance company may not insure it for you or you may have problems registering it.

Yes & No.

Yes-A totalled car can have a clean title if the insurance company doesn't stamp salvage title on it. The car can be damaged & un-drivable, but it can still have a clean title. On carfax it will show the accident history, but will say clean title.

No-If the car was totalled & written-off as a salvage, it can be issued a new title, but it will be 'Rebuilt'. The car must be fixed, then pass the State's salvage inspection. The State will send you a title with 'Rebuilt' on it and it will be legal to drive & even get new tags for it. But it will never be clean again, even carfax will show it as a Rebuilt car.
