SOMALILIFE. The Senior leadership of the neighboring SNET arrived early this morning at the Somalilife-Somalinet border where they sought asylum. The group lead by their deposed leader, Screw, formally filled out asylum papers claiming fear of persecution by the Cusmani rebels who have seized SNET.
"The situation in SNET has been deteriorating over the past few months. We began losing control over the site gradually. The regime did everything to please the opposition including setting up "Autonomous Regions" like the Somaliland/Puntland forums. Yet this federalization of Somalinet failed to stem the lawlessness." stated Screw.
"I fled my home at midnight in my sister's burqa. The sounds of gunfire began nearing the city center when I decided to flee with the leadership." said a panicked youth delegate called Hyperactive.
"We honestly tried to satisfy public but it was too much. The opposition who ranged from Hutuists, to the Shababists, to the E-SSDF did not want to work with the regime." replied a young woman dressed in olive green fatigues who wanted to refer to herself only as Nabeela.
"I was playing ball with my homeboyz when I saw the Mods fleeing on donkey carts and I decided not to hang around. I ain't no coward but sheed I ain't gonna lose my head for this." whispered a tall, lanky youth called FAH1223.

The refugees were whisked away to a refugee camp where they will be resettled until their asylums claims are approved by the Somalilife Government.
Meanwhile, efforts to reach the victorious rebels have been fruitless as communication into Somalinet was sporadic due to rebels cutting off all forms of communications. However, the newsroom received a fax from the Cismani Liberation Front condemning Somalilife for hosting the evil regime. The CLF has called for a general reconciliation meeting to be hosted in Somalinet to help bring about the needed change and restore democracy.
