Virtue Of Crying To Allah For The Fear Of Hell...

Post by *Proud_Muslimah* »

And Crying For Residence For Paradise.

Assalamu Alaikum brothers and sisters in Islam,

Zanhan Ibn 'Umar says that he heard:
"Whoever cries out of fear of Hell, Allah will protect him from it, and whoever cries yearning for Paradise, Allah will grant him residence in it."
Ibid: 41.

Our eyes are running dry. Our hearts are beginning to harden. Sadly for many Muslims already their eyes are dried of tears and their hearts have hardened towards the fear of Allah. This can spell destruction and doom. Whenever many Muslims see a Brother or Sister of Islam crying out of fear of Allah they see it as an odd thing to do. They see them as a weak individual. Little do they know that the strongest of men in battle such as the companion 'Umr Ibn Al Khattab (Radeallahu'Anhum) cried till the floor was wet and his beard was damp out of only the fear of Allah. Many Muslims wait until the 27th day of Ramadan (Laylatul-Qadr) to shed a tear, or they wait until they hear the Imam leading the prayer begin to cry during recitation. The best "cry", is the cry when you are all alone, weeping for the fear of Allah. Crying out of fear of Allah is greater than Jihad. A tear from your eyes out of fear of Allah is a protection from the Fire. The skin that comes into contact with the tears (from fear of Allah) will not be touched at all by the Fire. A companion was seen spreading the tears across his face saying how the Fire does not touch the skin that comes in contact with the tears out of fear of Allah. Subhan'Allah. When was the last time we shed a tear?

Yet we are all going to be faced with Hell on The Day of Judgment. We are going to stand before the Bridge of Sirat and we will have to cross it no matter what. We will see the horrors that day, the terrifying sound and the blackened Fire. We will see the chains and hooks coming from the Fire to catch the disobedient. We will see smoke ascending like darkened tornados spreading into the cursed air. We will see Hugh thorns across the Bridge of Sirat reading to catch people as they cross. Some will cross it as quick as a blink of an eye. Others will be cut by the thorns, others will be badly wounded, others will lose chunks of flesh or lose limbs while others will be snatched and torn to pieces as they fall into Hell. We do not know what our situation will be when crossing The Bridge. How can we not cry?
The Hadith mentioned shows the virtue of crying for Paradise. Anytime you shed tears for the yearning of Paradise to Allah, Paradise calls out to Allah asking entry for you. Each time you shed tears out of fear of Hell to Allah, Hell calls out to Allah, asking Him to prohibit you from entering it (Hell). Crying out of fear of Allah is the greatest signs of love of Allah towards you. If you can cry out of fear for Him, then your heart is moist with Iman. If you cannot, then turn to Allah more and recite the words of Him (The Holy Quran), until your eyes can shed tears out of fear and love for Him.

Conclusion:
We must not take Paradise or Hell as mere fairy tales. This is reality and we are going to be faced with such consequences upon death. We are all going to be faced with Hell on The Day of Judgment, both believer and disbeliever. Some faces will be turned away while others will be thrown into Hell without even account of their sins on The Day of Judgment.
Everyone of us, even Prophet Muhammad s.gif is going to cross the Bridge of Sirat over Hell. We do not even know if we are going to cross it without sustaining injury from the Thorns of Sirat. Remember that when you cry to Allah out of fear and/or love, you have your right foot already in Paradise. Let the tears come and fall in prostration to your Lord, for when our Lord sees us cry, His unlimited Mercy and Love shall shower upon us like snow drops.

Subhan'Allah, May Allah (SWT) guide us all to the right path and Insh'Allah grant us all Paradise (Ameen)

Fear? Whats to fear?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sulfur (Sanskrit, sulvere; Latin sulpur) was known in ancient times, and is referred to in the Biblical story of Pentateuch (Genesis). English translations of this commonly refer to sulfur as "brimstone", giving rise to the name of 'Fire and brimstone' sermons, which are sermons where hell and eternal damnation for sinners is stressed. It is from this part of the bible that hell is thought to smell of sulfur. The word itself is almost certainly from the Arabic "sufra" meaning yellow, from the bright color of the naturally-occurring form.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Low and behold, in ancient times, when the NILE river poured into lake Serbonis (Egypt) during its semi-annual overflow, it poured into it debris. When it finally receded....stinking..."hellish"...SULFUR!!! This is where the concept came from. You can let your imagination do what you will.

The ancients REALLY got a good one on people today with that one! Laughing Laughing

There is your "hell". Lake Serbonis in Egypt. I'll enjoy life (no fear) and make sure I don't go there. Thanks. Laughing

"Spiritual life is the bouquet of natural life, NOT a supernatural thing imposed upon it. So the impulses of nature, are what give authenticity to life, NOT obeying rules coming from a supernatural authority."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thus, hell is nothing but a lake in Egypt. REALITY is harder to deal with than an ancient fairy tale. REALITY is reserved for the strong and intelligent. Religion (not spirituality) is reserved for the weak and gullable, thus keeping the world in an upside-down balance.

Lionzion is the luckiest ape in the Northern hemisphere. Unlike his gorilla siblings, he sounds someone who doesn't doze when he reads, however, he shares the trait of lacking comprehension as is the usual in the ape world. With more luck you might even finish one book in three years. Keep on the good work. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Proud

Yeah right. I hate torturers and the only the torturing ET focker known as god will hear from is a Commando screech before I stick a sword into his evil gut.

And who wants heaven? The place heaving with the dumbest, dullest., ugliest most stupid killjoys on earth. I mean who wants to live next door to aiman, Proud, Somaliziis, few spitting Bengalis, smelly pakistanis, qurrelluing Somali clans, sheep-shagging hairy arabs and worm-eating Indonesians?

I can't even think of single pretty girl who will go there(the idae of servicing dead Arab ghosts is not particularly appealing)

Could you think of a single world class model, inventor, musician, philosopher or designer in heaven? I can't.

If I ever face the misfortune of going to that boring place i will immediately ask for transfer to other side. Hell rocks!
