Allah ha u naxariisto. And no insult intended.

Lakiinse, how did a six year old become a Darawiish? Also, if you have been to Tallex you know that the bombing was more psychological than extensive. There were supposed to have been something like five adult men present at Silsiilad when the Brits arrived. Sayidka was long gone......

After 89 years the forts are still in good condition and the living quarters at Falaad were never touched.

Who told you that fake news? the sayid was saved but many men died in the battle for talex!! plus they didn't just bomb talex the bombing started all the way from sanaag!! & don't tell me 5 men died on that day or the following days cause the infidels wiped out many families for revenge!! my grandparents and many others became the sole survivors of whole sub-clans..

It isn't fake news that there were only five men present when the Brits arrived at Silsiilad, and I have not heard if they died or not. Sayidka fled south long before the planes arrived, was wounded in fighting with the Aweysiyya, and died of his wound and the flu at Immay, still fleeing the Aweysiyya, who wanted revenge for the murder of Shaykh Aweys.

I don't really know how many died in the bombing, but the Sayid's wars had already killed off a third of the northern population.

Read it yourself. The war lasted three weeks:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1920_confl ... _dervishes

(i am not otherwise fond of this particular link. There is still disagreement among historians over the Aweysiyya episode, which I am inclined to believe.).

" By January 1920, the following British forces were assembled:[3]
"Z Force" ('"Z" Unit' in some sources)[4] provided by the RAF in Egypt. The force consisted of:[5]
12 de Havilland DH9 aircraft. The aircraft were shipped to Somaliland on the Royal Navy's aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal[6] and were used for bombing and as air ambulances.
A vehicle fleet consisting of ten Ford trucks, two Ford ambulances, six trailers, two motorcycles and two Crossley light trucks.
36 officers and 183 men, including the Z Force commander, Group Captain Robert Gordon.[7]
The Somaliland Camel Corps which was permanently based in the field as the local gendarmerie regiment.
One battalion of the King's African Rifles.

Somebody named Ameri called it the cheapest war in history in the British press.
