we claim to love the prophet (sallahu aleyhi wasalaam)

assalamu aleykum,

since many of us love to boast about lineage, and most of somalinet will know their nasab like they know surah fatixah. This was a question that a shiekh once asked, "if you claim to love the prophet (saw) tell me his nasab ?" i felt embarrased i couldnt go past abdul mutalib. so i decided to learn it and share it with you. so we may get to know our beloved, and none can say they love him until they know him. and we have the hadith in bukhari, that the prophet (saalahu aleyhi wasalaam) said, "None of you believes until he loves me more than he loves his children, his parents, and all people."

this his nasaab as follows and there is complete agreement up to cadnaan after that ther is ikhtilaf so its good to memorize up to cadnan inshallah,


فهو أبو القاسم، محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد المطلب بن هاشم بن عبد مناف ابن قصي بن كلاب بن مرة بن كعب بن لؤي بن غالب بن فهر بن مالك بن النضر بن كنانة ابن خزيمة بن مدركة بن إلياس بن مضر بن نزار بن معد بن عدنان بن أدد بن المقوم ابن ناحور بن تيرح بن يعر
ب بن يشجب بن نابت بن إسماعيل بن إبراهيم خليل الرحمن بن تارح – وهو آزر – بن ناحور بن ساروع بن راعو بن فالخ ابن عيبر بن شالخ بن أرفخشد بن سام بن نوح بن لمك بن متوشلخ بن أخنوخ – وهو إدريس النبي فيما يزعمون، وهو أول بني آدم أعطي النبوة، وخط بالقلم ـ ابن يرد بن مهليل بن قينن بن يانش بن شيث بن آدم عليه السلام.


so i want to dedicate this thread to be about the prophet (salahu aleyhi wasalaam) how he looked, how he ate, how many grey hairs he had etc.
