Galkacyo (and Mudug) has been neglected ,the whole region needs to be pacified ASAP.They need to bring in a strong military & police force into the city.

A new COMPETENT admin needs to be created,and stronger co-operation is needed with the people in Baraxley and kilinka shanaad since most criminals escape to these areas.Criminals need to be made examples of (public executions etc.)

At least a THIRD of the Puntland army needs to be in the Mudug area ,with check points all over Mudug and random house checks for explosives etc.

Criminals have no Qabiil and the ones that started this shit in Cagaaran with their Isbaaro should be dealt with first.
There's no need to overcrowd or build new prisons .Criminals should be used to build /repair roads across Puntland.

good idea. just hope puntland government put a lot of effort in mudug esp. galkacyo as there are lots of criminals and anyone who has a grudge against puntland seem to made its way through that city and cause trouble. its the deviding point between puntland and south! severe punishments should be introduced!

Surrender, I disagree with your assertion that PL is nothing without Galkacyo--a conflict city on the periphery that is still divided into South and North despite the local peace treaty. Consequently, and in my honest opinion, a city divided is a failed city.

Your first priority, as a proposed model for Change, is to initiate how to build harmonious relationship with your neighbours like we did in Ceerigaabo and share ONE administration as opposed to multiple ones.

When Garoowe became too unstable for even the PMs, a motion that the capital be moved to Bosaaso was circulated and put on the negotiating table. Fortunately, the motion was put off over important security issues that came up and which had a drastic negative publicity on the security of the region: Piracy.

I think PL can not afford to attend to every problem. Galkacyo needs a local administration that is capable of combatting its own crime as well as the Unification of the city through Reconciliation and a New Chapter. We should give These two leaders Faroole and IlkaJiir the chance they deserve and work with them.
