Harti Unity is Impossible
Sure, lineage-wise, Harti & other Darood clans might be close, but size does not permit for Darood or even Harti to be united politically, it can't happen.
Its easier for Dulbahante & Warsangali to be part of Somaliland than Puntland - the Qaldaans are already small, so having size-boosters won't overwhelm their voting registrations. Cusman Maxamud & Reer Bicidyahan alone have more land than Habar Awal & Habar Yunis plus the smaller Qaldaans. Dhullos have as much land as Garxaajis. And now some are talking about incorporating reer Mudug Marehan - what are you trying to do, incorporate the whole republic? For Qaldaans, incorporation of Harti sub-clans is not only to out-breed their bad looks genes, but its about numbers too. How can you even build an adequate armed militia with such a small population?
So, for those preaching Harti Unity, we are too big to be unified and our size means we have totally different objectives. A tuna catcher in LasQoray and a shepherd in Jariiban don't have nearly the same goals.

You have enough land, you just want Warsangali and Dulbahante gene pool.

The Puntland goverment is a joke itself, I was talking to a Dhulbahante, Bahrarsame fellah and he told me that the majority of Dhullos don`t give a rat azz about Puntland or Somaliland, we just want them for their money he told me. The reality is out there, Dhullos are in controll of their own land, the same goes for the tunas aka Warsengelis, they just want to make more money, so they have divided themselvs in two....qeybna Puntland beey ka lista qebyna Somaliland.

The Goat-herder never cease to amaze us.
Waryaa Goat-herder, you have to admit that Ciise Riyooles did more damage to PL's image than any other Harti sub-clans with their high seas piracy and road blocks.
Faroole must crack down on that pirate den of Eyl.
From Erigavi-Bosaaso to Nugaal and Jubaland is where my folks own and settle.
Harti needs me always.

Re: Harti Unity is Impossible
What the fuck is Harti Unity?
What does a BihinaGuleed have in common with a Cumar Maxamud?
Harti is buried outside the Geedi Valley in Haylaan, Maakhir. Maakhir is Somalia most isolated region and least connected to the rest of Somalia except by lineage to its neigbours in the East.
Their is no Isaaq tie, Maakhir is completely remote from Somaliland/Isaaqia by natural barriers in Western Sanaag. Besides the highway that connects Eastern Maakhir to Bosaaso we have little ties to Majareteenia.
Somali unity and Warsangeli inclusion is and has been throughout history one that is very loose if existant in the last 30 odd years of Somalias existance.
We and as proven are better off to break away from the Somalis and form a independent state from Somalia.
