^In that case one can argue Marehan are not Darood, because I've been reading the Puntland section and the only reason that Cawrmale are doubted is their support for USC and on that note one can also argue Marehan are not Darood given the JVA.

^All I'm saying is were in no position to question what our Warsangli brothers put forth, if they say Cawrmale are one of them we have no right arguing them on that. So what if they supported the USC in 1991? I don't think the JVA was any better.

Darodnimo was built on my back. Without my 21 years behind me, what clout and prestige would Darod have? To think someone who was the first to rise up against a Darod government and seek support from all our domestic and external enemies can talk about cid lala saaxiibtimay. Caydiid did not butcher a Darod clan more then he did MJ but first thing Abdullahi Yusuf when he was released from alambaqo was go fly to Caydiid in Xamar like a bride and sign a loser's peace when he should have been planning revenge for 500 men gunned down in a single day. Not to mention he did this when the rest of Darod who saved his people were stuck dug deep in their trenches and in the middle of the war. Don't talk about Darod. That's like Bush talking for the anti-War movement.

Darod did not have any name before 1969. MJ and the Abgaal were the only people who allowed their kids to go to missionary schools so when 1960 rolled around, the only Somalis who could be considered for training were them but by that time Somalis were catching up to each other and Irir was planning on usurping power. When Cabdirashiid was assassinated, Cigaal as prime minister was planning to name Xaaji Muuse Boqor to replace Cabdirashiid even though most Daroods forwarded your reer Xirsi uncle Cabdrisaaq. 1.)
