I always see Somali women wearing jilbaabs with their children eating out at buffets, but they feel shy to go to Somali restaurants but it's alright to eat loads of food infront of male strangers?

She's stupid on her part for applying at a buffet where they serve pork although she's just a cashier which means she doesn't touch pork. All she does is takes the receipt and ring them up... but some WILL argue and produce solid evidence that Muslims shouldn't work at a place where alcohol and pork is served...PERIOD, that's another long debate.

As far as the stupid buffet, I think it's fucked up and unfair but hey! Don't blame uneducated hiring manager, blame the fuckers who wrote the rules and uniform policies... They talk about equal rights opportunity yet they put hijab in the same category as accessories, hats, and effing durags(well, maybe not durags lol)... Talk about red neck bastards...

Here's MY opinion, I think she shoulda kept it moving. It's not like she's gonna die if they don't hire her. Why would I make a big fuss about a job not wanting to employ me? I can't force them to hire, I won't beg them to hire me(Cuz when they hire me, they'll make it clear they don't want my ass there in the first place but due to equal rights shit, they have to hire a minority to show the community how diverse they are, basically it's for a big show). When the curtains close, the monsters will appear.. Seriously for every minute you're angry, you lose six seconds of happiness. I'd rather be happy than to fuss over something little... Especially over working at a damn buffet, come on... Can't ya apply at ladies footlocker? I heard Nordstorm's hiring. some buffes are halal. but the issue here isnt whether the buffet is halal is that, they refused her to work there because of the head scarf, and thats discrimination. She should sue them for that.
