Re: Meles had a stroke
Here it is:
Meles Zenawi has been admitted to a hospital in Tel Aviv Tuesday night, after suffering massive stroke. Meles was taken to Tikur Anbesa Hospital from his bedroom after suffering a mild stroke, anonymous sources closer to his wife said.
These same sources are saying that his doctors discovered that stress and depression apparently contributed to the stroke.
According to reports from anonymous sources in Ethiopia, Meles Zenawi was taken to the Tikur Anbesa Hospital in Addis Ababa three nights ago and was conscious and able to speak but had complained that he is suffering from the massive stroke. He reached the hospital and was carried on the stretcher shortly before 1 A.M., and was admitted to the hospital's emergency room. He laid there for two hours until his wife decided to transfer him to Tel Aviv hospital under the advice of Mohammed Al Amoudin. Meles was taken to a Tel Aviv hospital by a private jet which is owned by Mohammed Al Amoudin.
The anonymous Source states that Meles entered the hospital in Tel Aviv in an unconscious state.

Apparently the treatment was ineffective so they rushed him to Belgium.

Re: Meles had a stroke
With all the Ethiopians (Read: Somalilanders) we have on the site I expected this thread to overflow with concern regarding Abti Zenawi.

Meles Zenawi's time is up regardless of his health problems.

It's OK, I'm sure others can sympathize. Pray Awowo Meles gets better and invades Somalia again so he can get rid of the "terrorists".

The facts. Best part is the comments underneath.
Ethiopia's dictator in Belgium for medical treatment
August 23rd, 2009 | Categories: Ethiopia | 37 Comments
The Butcher of Addis Ababa, Meles Zenawi, is in a Belgium hospital receiving medical treatment for high blood pressure, according to Ethiopian Review sources. He flew to Belgium a few days ago in the middle of the night.
A few months ago, Meles was in Dubai to get treatment. Sources say his condition is getting worse.
Meanwhile, Meles is also said to be clashing with his wife, Azeb Mesfin, over her aggressive move against Sebhat Nega and other senior members of the Tigrean People Liberation Front (Woyanne).
Azeb, who is a central committee member of Woyanne, has recently pushed out Sebhat Nega and became deputy chairperson of EFFORT, a multi-billion-birr business consortium. Sebhat is also ousted from the Woyanne politburo. Azeb's power struggle with other Woyannes is causing political problems for Meles within the tribal organization.

Re: Meles had a stroke
Ethiopianreview isn't reputable.
It's a stroke, a tumor, cancer, AIDS and hepatitis. Not high-blood pressure.

Re: Meles had a stroke
This isn't a good time to be Meles. AIDS, cancer and 6 million of his people are set to die in the Tigray region.
What a pitiful existence.

But if Abti Zenawi is gone, who will get rid of the terrorists?nomadicwarlord wrote:The Nomad wrote:Nomadic, don't conceal your pain.nomadicwarlord wrote:Meles Zenawi's time is up regardless of his health problems.

I never sympathize with a Habesha's wellbeing unlike you, the avatar you have says it all.
Of course, it'll mean tens of thousands of dead Hawiye, like last time, but the ends justify the means right?

Re: Meles had a stroke
^ Your role models will defeat themselves. They already have their political goals accomplished. 1) The withdrawal of Ethiopian troops, 2) The implementation of Sharia law. Their continuation of the conflict shows that they are fighting a proxy war directed from SWAT Valley. Their true colors shows they are not fighting for Somalia. With that, your role models have defeated themselves. Now they are just amassing more crimes in their belt.
