I am a Makhiri who's people have been ruled by Oromo for 49 years. I am forced to share a common nationality with you, but we are different ethnically. Makhir is a sovereign state.

As would the Syrians. As would the North Sudanese. As would the Yemenis.

The Makhir Sultanate was an Arab state in Northern Somalia, abolished by the colonizers. We are in the process of re-establishing it.
