Peace in Somalia will be achieved once these anti-peace groups are eliminated. Aweys and company needs to be taken out. Once that leadership is removed, peace can be a reality again. In Angola, after 25 years of civil war, worse than Somalia's conflict, Savimbi was taken out then UNITA came to the peace table. Now the country is prospering. I understand Somalia is facing Al-Qaeda cloned extremism, they have to be taken out before they master this murderous doctrine.

Do you know that Jonas Savimbi was much more self sufficient than the parasitic warlords in Somalia ? The man had diamonds, properly trained force, organized administrations and even owned planes.

AW- Yeah, UNITA at one point received American military aid and China. His death was a blow this movement. That might not be the case in Somalia but I want to see the leadership decapitated. The Angolan president is probably worse than Mobutu but has somehow managed to hold on to power.
