KEO in Dubai has been commissioned to provide full development services for this new city development in Khartoum, Sudan. Built on 1,700 acres of flood plain, the development enjoys a 6Km frontage to the White Nile River with the northern-most portion forming 160 acres of new Central Business District at the junction with the Blue Nile. Construction has already commenced on a number of development sites where building height ranges from 4 storeys to 35 storeys.
The role of KEO includes the central coordination of all aspects of the development process including full infrastructure design, construction, marketing, financial and business planning and regulatory controls. In the absence of any existing planning laws KEO is also managing for the creation of a Public Development Authority complete with building codes and approval procedures.
